Introduction

  • Rubber Products are subject to changes in their dimensions after processing & vulcanization.This may be due to various factors ,such as mould shrinkage or relaxation of die swell.
  • These changes should be determined and allowed for when designing such items as molds & dies used in the manufacture of such products.
  • The closer tolerance classes outlined in this specification should not be demanded unless required by the final application and should be restricted to those dimensions deemed to be critical.The greater the degree of accuracy demanded, the closer the control which must be exercised during manufacture , & hence the higher the costs.
  • When particular physical properties are required in the product,it may not always be possible to provide them in a mix which is capable of fabrication to close tolerances . It is advisable ,in these circumstances that consultation should take place between the interested parties .In general softer vulcanizates need greater tolerances than harder ones.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

1. PRODUCT /CONCEPT DESIGN

The Customers can provide the product drawings or provide a concept so that we could design a model accordingly.

2.Concept discussions with design team

Any changes required as per the application & process conditions can be discussed as per the design.

3. MOU & agreement regarding copyright & patent protection

The design is kept safe at our end .

4. CAD Modelling of Product

A CAD model is created to get the design approval from the client.

Also our CAD model will be provided to the customer upon specific request so that the customer could use it in their assembly.

5. 3D Printed Prototypes (if required)

A 3D printed prototype will be provided upon request.The model will be a plastic model just to feel the product if it fits well in assembly.

6.Actual Material Development

The rubber compound will be developed to achieve the required physical properties or it can be selected from our already prepared compound specifications available in rubber compound section

7. Specification Design for process benchmarking

In order to develop a quality consistent supply of product we will keep on monitoring & recording the physical properties of mixes & dimensional shrinkage upon standard time,temperature & pressures.

8.Production process Trial

A specified quantity of products will be provided to customer for approval.

9. Quality Controlled Supply Chain
